Family Planning (Contraception)

Contraceptive services and advice are provided by the doctors and Sister McCandlish. 

IUD (intra-uterine device or "coil") fitting is by prior arrangement after discussion with the doctor. Please remember that IUD checks and checks of diaphragm (the "cap") fitting should be carried out annually.

Women who are on the "pill" will need to be reviewed regularly, usually every six months.
